We had dinner for two people and got to try the authentic looking Japanese rooms which was a nice touch. The food was excellent and service was extremely quick. I had a selection of starters and sushi and count fault it, especially the Karaage chicken. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. There's parking on the streets nearby
Me and my girlfriend were very pleasantly surprised when we decided to go here on a whim. The waitress was so friendly and lovely and the food was just as amazing. I can’t recommend the Dragon rolls enough they were the best sushi we had ever eaten. We even got to try on Kimonos which the same waitress helped us with. 10/10 restaurant, loved it!
Really cute independent business with a very nice atmosphere. I really really enjoyed the sashimi and sushi items, the fresh ingredients were of nice quality for the price and the flavourings were on point as well. Hot food was decent enough too but I would recommend the sashimi/sushi items more. The restaurant has nice decor and I liked sitting in the tatami room they look so cute. the service was very friendly and efficient too. Overall highly recommend if you are in the area!
Came here with my girlfriend and had a fantastic experience. The food was outstanding—she's been to Japan and said this was the most authentic Japanese cuisine she's had outside of the country. The staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Great vibe overall, with a wide selection of sake. The cocktail I had was fresh, well-balanced, and thoroughly enjoyable. Highly recommend if you're in the mood for quality Japanese food.
Food were top notch! Went with family. We ordered seafood and veg tempura, tonkatsu ramen, beef ramen, salmon rice and unadon, dragon roll.... I have been to many ramen places in UK but the broth was almost as good as the ones u get in Japan everything tastes so authentic and we booked the tatami area. Which is cute!! Didnt take a lot of photos but i would defo go back!
Lovely little local diner, delivers on excellent quality sashimi, sushi, katsu, tempura so light. Second visit in two months, will be going again.
Me and my wife went here to celebrate our monthversary! (we have 2 dates per month) Upon entering we were greeted by a very friendly lady who sat us in one of the enclosed booths, which was awesome, because we were unaware of that possibility. She also gave us the opportunity to wear yukatas and kimonos for a little photoshoot! This made the experience very memorable. The menu was good and has a variety of known dishes. We went with some sushi and it was delicious. for dessert we had some banana tempura and it was great. I will be bringing my friends here next time.
One of the best sushi places we’ve been to! As you can see we ordered many things and ate everything. Sushi was very fresh. For drinks we ordered iced matcha latte and coffee aswell which tasted really nice. The lady was very hospitable and food was served quick. 10/10 recommend
